Why You’ll Love this Recipe
- Perfect for a party – This peach sangria tastes like summer and is great for a crowd. It makes so many servings, and it is easy to double or triple the batch if you have a larger group.
- Light and refreshing – I love sangria for a light, refreshing drink you can sip on all day. Fresh, ripe summer peaches are perfect for salads, desserts and especially cocktails! Sweet peaches and strawberries are perfectly offset by the dryness of the white wine.
- Customizable – You can change up this recipe with whatever fruit you have on hand! When peaches are out of season, you can add some peach juice, or in the winter this would be delicious with oranges.

Serving Suggestions
This white wine peach sangria is perfect for warm summer evenings with friends or weekends around the pool. I would serve this refreshing cocktail with some of my favorite appetizers. Creamy White Bean Hummus, Whipped Feta Dip with Fresh Herbs, or Cheese Board On-the-Go are all great options that pair so well with this sangria.
I love pairing this easy peach sangria recipe with a fresh salad, like a chopped BLT or summer corn salad. It is also delicious with chicken pasta ranch pasta salad or quinoa chickpea salad.

Ingredients
- Fresh peaches – the peaches are the star of the show. You can use white or yellow peaches for this recipe.
- Fresh strawberries – I love pairing the peaches with strawberries for a sweet and delicious summer flavor
- Sugar – sugar helps break down the fruit so all of the flavors combine with the wine.
- White wine – I like to use a Spanish white wine like an albariño. If you cannot find a Spanish white wine, you can use a pinot grigio or dry riesling because it is the perfect mix of dry and sweet.
- Peach liqueur – peach liqueur and peach schnapps are interchangeable, so you can try different kinds to find your favorite brand
- Peach seltzer water, ginger seltzer or plain seltzer water – your favorite club soda works great to make this recipe delicious. To make it sweeter, you can use lemon lime soda here
Ingredient Substitutions
Depending on the season, you can change up the elements of this peach sangria recipe. In the fall, I love making an apple cider sangria. For winter, I love doing a sangria with red wine and oranges rather than a white sangria recipe.
In place of the strawberries, you can use you blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries. If the peaches aren’t quite sweet enough, you can add peach nectar or peach juice to sweeten it.
This recipe comes together quickly, but if you have more time, you can boil sugar and water in a small saucepan to make a simple syrup and pour that over the fruit to break it down.
If you do not have peach liqueur, you could use an orange liqueur like cointreau or triple sec. If you like a drier or less sweet sangria, you can use sauvignon blanc. To make it even more fun, use prosecco or your favorite sparkling wine instead.

How to make
Step 1: Mix fresh fruit with sugar and peach liqueur
To begin, cut peaches into slices and remove the pits. Place peach slices and strawberries into the bottom of a pitcher. Then, pour the sugar and 3/4 cup peach schnapps in with the fruit.
Stir with a wooden spoon to mix and let the fruit soak for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Pour in white wine and seltzer water and serve!
Next, pour the chilled white wine and seltzer water into the large pitcher and stir again. Finally, serve with some of the fruit in wine glasses.
Serve over ice if you want it extra cold! I like to use these large, slow melt ice cube molds to make big ice cubes for my sangria!
If you would like, garnish with fresh mint and serve the perfect summer drink.

Storage and freezing
This peach sangria recipe is best enjoyed immediately because as the fruit sits in the liquid it can get too soft. If you want to prep ingredients ahead of time, you can cut the fruit ahead of time and keep the wine in the fridge to get it cold. Then mix just before serving.
Frozen sangria would also be delicious. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
