Orange Chicken Wings are Whole30 baked chicken wings with a sticky orange sauce that you can easily make at home. These healthy baked chicken wings are bursting with flavor!

All the flavor of orange chicken, but in wing form!

I love chicken wings, but sometimes I get sick of the buffalo wing flavor. I have to change up the flavor profile every once in a while. These are crispy baked chicken wings that are glazed with a delicious, sticky orange sauce.

What kitchen tools will I need to make these Orange Chicken Wings?

  • Mixing bowls
  • Liquid measuring cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • Silicone basting brush
  • Baking sheet with wire rack

What ingredients will I need to make this healthy baked wing recipe?

  • Chicken wings separated into drumettes and flats
  • Fresh orange juice
  • Coconut aminos
  • Rice vinegar
  • Sriracha – Yellowbird sriracha is Whole30 compliant
  • Sesame oil
  • Orange zest
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Egg whites
  • Optional: green onion and sesame seeds to garnish

Let’s make some Orange Chicken Wings!

Step 1: Marinate Wings

First, combine marinade ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Then, pour marinade over chicken wings. Marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

Step 2: Bake Wings

Next, remove the wings from the refrigerator, save the marinade, and place on a baking sheet with wire rack. Then, brush each wing with egg white and season with salt and pepper.

Next, place the wings in the oven at 400F. Bake for 20 minutes, then, flip and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Step 3: Reduce the Sauce and Brush on Wings

Then, once the wings are almost fully cooked pour the saved marinade into a sauce pan and heat over medium until it bubbles. Reduce to a simmer and allow the mixture to simmer for 8-10 minutes. It should turn into a thick, sticky sauce.

Then, remove the wings from the oven and brush with the sauce. Finally, garnish the wings with green onion and sesame seeds. Serve with my Homemade Ranch Dressing and celery!

Step 4: Enjoy!

How should I reheat these wings?

I do not recommend microwaving these chicken wings. For best results, reheat the wings in your oven on convection or in the air fryer.
