Update: when I first stumbled upon the magic that is the no bread turkey club I mostly made them with the same set of ingredients: some mayo or dressing, turkey, bacon, tomatoes and avocado. Since that time I have made AT LEAST one of these a week every week and they just keep getting better.
I will still call them a no bread turkey club, but lets call a spade a spade. They are really just a delicious lettuce wrapped sandwich. This means if you’ve got yourself some romaine lettuce, parchment paper and sandwich fixings, you are ready to go.

I should share some of the no bread turkey club tips I’ve learned along the way to help you all out. You MUST use parchment paper to roll it up. If you don’t have this you’re gonna have a mess on your hands.
It’s not going to be pretty to eat a no bread turkey club in public, but it will be delicious. Lots of people ask me, “but how do you eat it!?” and truthfully its a mess. You need to use the parchment paper to keep it all together and kind of pull it down as you go.
I have also found that anything too wet will not fair well in a no bread turkey club. So avoid anything like chicken salad, tuna salad or egg salad inside and stick to sliced meats or lunch meats.
If you’ve scrolled my Instagram, you know I love a THICC sandwich on good bread and stuffed with all the things. Unfortunately, when I bring them in my lunchbox to work, I find myself to be a little sluggish and groggy throughout the afternoon. I started making these no bread turkey clubs so I could cut the carbs and power through the slump.
If you’re going to pack this no bread turkey club for lunch, I suggest leaving off the tomato. It just gets a little soggy after a few hours and of course, there is no soft bread their to soak it up. Okay, maybe I miss bread a little more than I realized.

My favorite part of this sandwich is hands down the crunch of the bacon. I get a uniform crisp on my bacon by cooking it in the oven. I wrote a post all about making my bacon that way here.
