Holiday party requirement #1: a purse large enough to fit my @chomps ?

Amy doesn’t work a regular 9-5.⁣
When we first started dating she warned me that nurses schedules can be difficult for people who have only ever known regular job hours.⁣
At the time I naively thought, “Not a problem. I work on Mad About Food all the time!"⁣
I quickly realized it wasn't the same thing. She's gone for 14 hours at a time, usually 3 days in a row and at least once a month its a full weekend.⁣
This schedule was challenging at first. I wanted to work on my blog like a 9-5, but if I do that we might never get a date night or be able to sit and watch a movie together.⁣
Amy helped me see the need for scheduled quality time, even if that time is noon on a Wednesday. We take that time together and I fit my work into the other hours of the week (trust me there's still plenty of time for work).⁣
Some of my favorite quality time spent together is just running errands and grabbing sushi or Korean BBQ between stops.⁣
How do you spend quality time with loved ones?! I am always open to suggestions especially during this busy time of year!

Look at this beautiful balanced breakfast spread ?⁣
Truthfully, I haven't eaten a breakfast like this in a longggg time. In the winter my days are either go, go, go or a race against sunlight.⁣
In the summers I can push photoshoots ⁣
until 4pm or so and still grab beautiful natural light, but right now I have to be done shooting by 2pm or things are TOO dark ?⁣
What do I eat when I don't have time for the fancy stuff? Lately I have been loving soup. Might sound bizarre, but chili for breakfast is THE MOVE. Or I will have one of my breakfast casseroles (a few recipes for those on the blog) and if I am really struggling I will have a couple of Chomps sticks and cheese in my car.⁣
