Chopped nuts like chopped candied pecans or toasted almond slices
Spicy honey or regular honey
Fresh herbs like finely chopped rosemaryparsley or chives
Lemon zest
Black pepper
Flakey sea salt
Instructions
Add goat cheese, yogurt, and honey to a food processor. Zest a lemon into the food processor until you have about 1 tsp of zest.
Run the food processor to combine the ingredients and whip the goat cheese. Test for thickness of dip - some like it thicker than others. If you prefer it to be thinner add up to ¼ cup more of yogurt and run the food processor again.
Spread the smooth whipped dip into a serving bowl. I like to use 2 bowls so I can vary the toppings.
If serving immediately, add whatever toppings you like. I usually do one with spice honey, lemon zest, black pepper and parlsey. On the other one I use red peppery jelly, chopped candied pecans and fresh rosemary - this one is perfect for the holidays! I also like it with mixed berry jam and toasted almond slices.
If serving later, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator without toppings. Spread into a bowl and add toppings just before serving.
Notes
You can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
