Strawberry Frozen Yogurt 29g Protein, 270 cal

  • 3/4 cup fat free plain greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk
  • 7 g sugar free vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 Squirt of liquid stevia
  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen

Oreo McFlurry 27g Protein, 299 cal

  • 1 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 17g by weight - 10g of protein - I used Clean Simple Eats brand
  • 10 g Oreo pudding mix
  • 2 oreo thins

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the Ninja Creami pint. Mix together with a hand frother or an immersion blender until a smooth mixture remains. **For the strawberry mix all ingredients together except the strawberries, add those to the pint whole before freezing. **For the Oreo save the oreo thins for a mix in at the end.
  • Place lid on the pint and freeze on a level surface in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
  • Remove from the freezer just before blending. Place in a basin of warm water for 3 minutes - this helps remove ice from sides.
  • Place pint in outer bowl and lock lid into place. Spin on LITE ICE CREAM setting.
  • After first spin, remove the lid and check the texture. If it is crumbly, put the lid back on and hit the RE-SPIN button.
  • Continue re-spinning until it has a smooth creamy texture - DO NOT add liquid on respin unless you want more of a milkshake texture.
  • Once it is creamy either remove and enjoy or add mix ins by creating a hole in the center. Add any mix-ins. Put the lid back on and hit the MIX-IN button.

Notes

  • If you do not want to use pudding mix you can omit it completely or use 1/4 tsp xanthan gum or guar gum in place of the pudding to thicken.
  • I use Clean Simple Eats whey protein for the best taste and texture. You can use my code MADABOUTFOOD for a discount on your purchase.
  • Mix in options: chocolate, candy, sprinkles, cookies, pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels or cereal
