Ranch Mixed Nuts

Do you know any of those people who say "I just don't snack"? SERIOUSLY?! Few things make me happier than a snack and few things make me more livid than someone who doesn't need to snack. I need to snack. It gets me through a busy work day, long car trips and pretty much most TV binges.

In general, I prefer a savory snack over a sweet one, but I have such a hard time finding a satisfying savory snack that isn't a bag of potato chips (which I do let myself indulge in from time to time). So this is the perfect, satisfying savory snack.

Yield: 12 quarter cup servings

Ranch Mixed Nuts

prep time: 10 minscook time: 25 minstotal time: 35 mins

ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil (I use this one)
  • 2 tsp dried dill
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast  (BEST NOOCH)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp onion powder

instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Add raw nuts to a large bowl and toss in avocado oil .
  3. Combine seasonings and nutritional yeast and pour over nut mixture. Mix thoroughly until all nuts are fully covered in seasonings.
  4. Spread nuts in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes and then toss nuts and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
