Italian Pantry Pasta Salad

A delicious Italian seasoned pasta salad made with ingredients you can find in your pantry!

  • 1 lb pasta – I used bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sliced peperoncini peppers
  • 3/4 cup sliced shelf stable meat like Chomps
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions
  2. Drain and rinse pasta and return to the original pot and drizzle with olive oil
  3. Drain diced tomatoes, slice black olives, slice peperoncinos, and slice meat and add them all to the pot with the cooked pasta
  4. In a small mixing bowl combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried basil, dried oregano, dried parsley, crushed red pepper, and salt
  5. Drizzle dressing over the pasta and veggies and toss to coat fully
  6. Store pasta salad in the refrigerator and serve chilled
