Flavorful honey mustard chicken



  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast tenders (or full breasts cut into tenders)


  1. Combine 1/4 cup avocado oil, honey, yellow mustard, coconut aminos, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl
  2. Add chicken tenders to the bowl and toss to coat them
  3. Cover the bowl and marinate in the fridge for at least two hours
  4. Heat a large pan (I use a cast iron skillet) over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil to the pan
  5. When the oil is warm add the marinated tenders to the pan
  6. Cook the chicken tenders over medium for 8 minutes flipping every 2 minutes
  7. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days
