Easy Spinach Dip

Easy, low carb, creamy spinach dip made with simple ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream


  1. Defrost the spinach and drain excess water
  2. Mince garlic
  3. Heat oil and garlic over medium low heat
  4. Saute garlic until soft and fragrant – about 4 minutes
  5. Add the spinach and salt to the pan and cook over medium low for 5 minutes tossing frequently
  6. Remove the spinach from heat
  7. Combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a small mixing bowl – if the cream cheese is not soft enough you can microwave for 15 seconds
  8. Add the sauteed spinach to the bowl and mix thoroughly
  9. Enjoy immediately or place in the fridge to chill. I like to serve this dip chilled with veggies
