Air Fryer Fish Nuggets

Healthy air fried fish nuggets

  • Two 3oz filets of thick white fish – I used cod
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Spray oil


  1. Cut the fillets of fish into bite-size nuggets
  2. Whisk the egg in a small shallow bowl
  3. In a separate shallow bowl combine almond flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika
  4. Bread each fish nugget by first dipping in the egg, then coat in the almond flour mixture
  5. Place each breaded nugget on the air fryer tray
  6. Spray lightly on all sides with cooking oil – I used spray avocado oil
  7. Cook in the air fryer at 425F for 10 minutes
  8. Remove, allow to cool slightly and enjoy!
